Lately....

Apologies for my lack of updates. I’ve just pretty much lost interest in blathering on about what I’m interested in, my opinion on things and blah blah blah. It’s boring me. Although in another way since I sometimes just can’t help myself I’ll add that of all the things I’ve been reading lately; Disgrace by Coetzee, Madame Bovary by Flaubert, A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan, it’s the work of manga artist Taiyo Matsumoto that’s been the most interesting. His work is just so out of this world, so ahead of its time that nothing else seems to come close. No. 5, his ongoing work has to be seen to believe. It has tiger-sheep and hippopotami, for Pete’s sake.

I want to keep putting things up, but not in the way that I am now. There’s enough like it out there. We’ll see.
